Don’t miss the 2023 Juneteenth Community Celebration & Resource Fair, now a three-day event, June 15 – 17 in downtown Jackson! Entertainment by Tim Bowman, Shantelle and Terrance Hawkins, The Corzo Effect, and DJ Scott White.
Thursday, June 15
- Local law enforcement and community leaders come together for Racial Inequities: Social Justice and Criminal Just Reform panel discussion at the Martin Luther King Center, 1107 Adrian St., Jackson. Doors will open at 5 p.m., and program starts at 5:30 p.m.
Friday, June 16
- Friday evening, “Sign of the Times,” will be presented at the Michigan Theatre, with doors open at 6 p.m. This play is written and directed by Lisa Williams.
Saturday, June 17
- A Resource Fair, Job Fair & Alro Steel Kids Zone kicks off at 2 p.m. Check out exhibitors around True Community City Square, W. Michigan Avenue & S. Jackson Street, to learn more about resources available. Food and sales vendors will also be on hand.
