Having a love for anatomy, going into the radiology technician field seems like a natural fit for Brittney Ratliff. Earning a scholarship gives her a head start on paying for college.

Ratliff, 2018 Onsted High graduate, works during the summer to help pay for college. Scholarship money from the Fred and Loraine J. Stephens Endowed Scholarship helps her to be on her own as she’s now living in Campus View Student Housing, helping to cover college costs and for her own use. “It gives me a boost to pay for my own stuff without my parents always helping me,” she said.

Ratliff began her studies as a dual enrolled student at Jackson College @ LISD TECH in Adrian, and gained experience in the medical field at the LISD TECH Center.
