Meet Emily. At just 15 years old, this Jackson Preparatory and Early College student has completed 39 college credits as a dual enrolled student, maintaining a perfect 4.0 grade point average.
With the opportunity to dual enroll while in high school, Mast has a big jump on her future. She is working toward her Associate of Arts degree.
“It’s been amazing. JPEC feels like a family, and I feel like I really belong at Jackson College. The teachers are all phenomenal.”
This year, Emily had the opportunity to volunteer with the latest history project with Professor Diana Agy, part of the new Heritage Center at W.J. Maher Campus. She is also a Writing Fellow.
“Jackson College is a great college if you don’t want to go on to another college, or if you do and transfer. They include you in everything they do.”
