Celebrate Oktoberfest for a great cause!
September 12, 2018
Support student scholarships while celebrating Oktoberfest! The Jackson College Foundation’s Ninth Annual Feast for Knowledge fundraising event commemorates Oktoberfest with fun, food and spirits, coming Thursday, Oct. 11 at the Potter Center.
Alumni and friends of Jackson College are invited to this signature gala event in which proceeds directly support our 8,000 students annually through Jackson College Foundation scholarships, the Harriet Myer Student Emergency Fund, and organizational support. Oktoberfest attendees will play a vital role in the success of our Jackson College students, offering them help and hope for the future.
The celebration will begin in the Robert Snyder Dining Room and consist of a variety of German cuisine favorites, including sauerbraten, schnitzel and sausages. Enjoy a selection of specialty beverages from local Michigan breweries and wineries. Guests will have the opportunity to bid on a variety of auction items; for more information, go to www.jccmi.edu/feast.
- 6 p.m. Dinner, cocktails and silent auction in the Robert Snyder Dining Commons, Potter Center.
- 8 p.m. Presentation from college scholarship winners, video commemoration and message from President Daniel J. Phelan.
