Join in an afternoon of music and inspiration when Point of Grace is joined by Aaron Shust in a Christmas concert, at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10 at Potter Center.
The women of Point of Grace have provided a soundtrack to our lives for more than two decades. With faith-filled and passionate lyrics, their memorable melodies and soaring harmonies have inspired generations. Point of Grace is comprised of Shelley Breen, Denise Jones and Leigh Cappillino, a trio that began singing together in college. They’ve now sung together 20 years, with over 8 million recordings sold, 3 Grammy nomination, multiple Dove awards, and countless accolades. Their unique ability to affect audiences with heartfelt song and story is stronger than ever. Each new season of life seems to challenge the trio to reach even higher and dig deeper into their craft, as seen in their musical and lyrical depth of their more recent projects. A few of their well-known hits include “You Are the Answer,” “Circle of Friends,” and “Breath of Heaven.” Point of Grace is one of the Top 10 best-selling artists in the history of Contemporary Christian music.
Joining them in this special Christmas concert will be vocalist Aaron Shust. Over the past decade, Shust has earned a reputation as one of Christian music’s most compelling songwriters and a vocalist of depth and passion. He was named both New Artist and Songwriter of the Year at the 2007 Dove Award, and the impact of his song, “My Savior My God” was recognized with the Song of the Year honor. He is well-known for hits such as “My Hope is in You,” “No One Higher,” and “Ever Be.” His version of the classic “O Come O Come Emmanuel” has become a perennial holiday favorite.
