College 101

College 101 is a student-focused seminar designed by Jackson College student success navigators to help facilitate student success by providing basic information in order to assist first-year students in acclimating to the demands and expectations of college life. The seminar discusses information that every college student should be aware of, such as: How to properly contact professors via e-mail • Proper classroom conduct • Punctuality and making the most of your time • Semester schedules • Policies for drops and withdrawals • Attendance policies • Judicial and disciplinary procedures • Timeliness in addressing uncertainties •  Mission, Values and Beliefs

Launch Pad: Where are you going?

Come and ask a navigator where you are heading. Navigators will be there to answer questions about transferring (how to access transfer materials and what to look for) and about your next steps here. Navigators will be able to schedule advising appointments to discuss further options and be more in-depth.
