Thrill to the music of Andrew Lloyd Webber at ‘Best of Broadway’

Enjoy the music of the stage when the Potter Center at Jackson College presents “The Best of Broadway: The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber,” at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2019.

Featuring the world’s finest tenor, Terry Barber, this concert will feature a kaleidoscope of music from 10 of Webber’s Broadway musicals – “Phantom of the Opera,” “Cats,” “Evita,” “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” “Jesus Christ Superstar,” “Starlight Express” and more. Barber sings these unforgettable songs accompanied by a musical cast of world-class vocalists and instrumentalists. This production stimulates both eyes and ears, as this is a marvelous modern-day visual presentation as well.

Terry Barber is a former member of the two-time Grammy-winning musical group Chanticleer. He joined the roster of the Metropolitan Opera in 2002 and made his Carnegie Hall debut in 2004. From Carnegie Hall to the famed Svetlanov Hall in Moscow, he’s performed in over a hundred cities worldwide! His voice can be heard on every major record label, with a range of artists from Madonna to the London Philharmonic.
