What is the MACRAO Agreement?
MACRAO (Michigan Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers) refers to an agreement among two- and four-year Michigan colleges to ensure that a student who completes basic general education requirements at Jackson Community College, will have satisfied the same basic general education requirements at other participating Michigan schools. After you complete the coursework for MACRAO, and when you request your official transcript be sent to a college or university, also ask that your transcript be stamped: “MACRAO AGREEMENT SATISFIED.”
Who is the MACRAO available for?
The MACRAO is available for students who started taking classes at JC PRIOR to fall 2014.
All current students who are working towards the completion of the MACRAO have through summer 2019 to complete the specific courses.
