Think Spring: Rescheduled choir concert set for March 24

March 16, 2022

Vocal Point, the premier vocal group at Jackson College, will perform its rescheduled live concert on Thursday, March 24, from 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., in the William Atkinson Library on Central Campus. This will be the first live performance since February 2020; the concert was delayed twice due to illness.

The choir will sing from the second-story balcony, with audience seating in the lower section of the library to allow for proper distancing. The concert will feature music by Sonja Poorman, Victor C. Johnson, Jim Papoulis, David Dickau, Harry Belafonte, and Lee Dengler.

The concert is free of charge, and all are welcome. Masks are required on campus; check COVID protocols online.

Vocal Point is directed by vocal music instructor Dr. Richard Hintze. For more information about the choir, please e-mail Dr. Hintze at HintzeRichardR@jccmi.edu.
