Academic Advising
The Student Center in Walker Hall, Room 100 is where you have immediate access to academic advisors for quick answers to your questions. Drop-in during our regular hours or make an appointment. Advising is also available at the JCC Centers located in Hillsdale and Lenawee.
Bookstore
Order your text books online, or visit the bookstore located on your campus.
Bus Service
Students can ride the bus to and from the Central Campus for $1.00 (rate is subject to change by JTA). Busses do not run when classes are not in session.
Campus Safety and Security
JCC's desire is to provide an accessible and safe environment on campus for all students.
Center for Student Success
The Center for Student Success provides tutoring, including a drop-in lab staffed by professional and peer tutors, and computer-aided instruction. We also provide learning support and accommodation services for students with special needs.
Disability Services
Assistive Technology provided by Jackson Community College strives to facilitate all students with equitable access to educational technology regardless of any challenges of limitation.

Health Clinic
Jackson Community College has partnered with Allegiance Health to offer JCC students and employees medical care evaluation and treatment from the clinic’s caring staff. A licensed nurse practitioner and technical staff will be in the office to see patients, make diagnosis and assessment, prescribe medications or make referrals. JCC nursing and allied health students will also help as part of their education.
Library
The library serves research needs of students, faculty and staff at Jackson Community College. Residents of Jackson County as well as JCC students outside the county may also access many of the Library's resources and services.
Office of Multicultural Relations
The Office of Multicultural Relations is committed to provide an atmosphere that is warm, engaging and rich in cultural diversity. We also provide our students with a variety of opportunities to get involved in diverse student organizations – International Student Organization, C I P (College Incentive Program) Student Organization and the Multicultural Student Organization.
Online Classes
JCC’s Distance Learning program provides courses when and where you need them at your convenience. With over 100 online courses, you can complete several degrees and certificates completely online or ease a busy schedule with one or two online courses.
Student Employment
JCC student employment provides financial assistance and professional experience for students.
Student Government
Jackson Community College Student Government is an organization whose mission is to advocate and promote quality student learning experiences inside and outside the classroom.
Student Ombudsman
The Office of the Student Ombudsman is an impartial and neutral resource to help students, faculty and staff resolve academic and non-academic concerns. The ombudsman provides information related to JCC policies and procedures and facilitates the resolution of problems and grievances through informal investigation and meditation.

TRiO Student Support Services (SSS)
