Institutional Research & Effectiveness

Welcome to the Institutional Research & Effectiveness office at Jackson College.

Our office serves as an integral component of the college’s decision support services by providing official data and reports, student achievement milestones, key performance indicators comprised of critical metrics, integrated strategic planning as well as compliance and accreditation assistance, among other services.

We accomplish our work through mutually beneficial relationships with colleagues in a multitude of offices across campus, participating in benchmark services, conducting surveys on a triennial basis and collaboratively building automated dashboards.

Along with key cross-functional college staff we are currently leading the Data Governance Committee. Its primary goal is to “Identify, establish and oversee the strategy, objectives and policies intended to ensure the quality of critical data, focusing primarily on those data used for compliance reporting to external agencies.”

Our webpages exist to provide useful resources to college employees, Board of Trustee members, as well as national and program-specific accreditors and to convey the processes used to embed the outcomes from projects in the college’s decision support services.
