’26 Summer band camp welcomes young musicians

Young musicians are invited to tune up their talents this summer at the 2026 Summer Band Camp, designed for pre–high school–aged students.

Participants will enjoy playing exciting music, strengthening their instrumental skills, and building confidence in a supportive group setting, taught by JC Director of Instrumental Activities, Professor Dan Bickel. The camp experience culminates in two public performances, including a concert and a community parade, giving students the opportunity to showcase what they’ve learned and gain experience.

• June 22-25 and June 29-July 2, AND the July 4 parade in Brooklyn
  • 1 year experience: 9 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
  • 2 or more years’ experience: 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
• Jackson College Central Campus, Potter Center
• $125 (includes shirt, snacks)
