Become a Jackson College Student
We’re thrilled that you’ve chosen to take the next step in your educational journey by enrolling at Jackson College! To make the process as simple as possible, the admission process is divided into seven basic steps, below. Different steps may apply, so be sure to select the type of student you are to see which path is right for you.
Step 1. Apply
Traditional Application
Use the traditional application if you are the following type of student:
- Undergraduate – Seeking a Certificate, Associate Degree, Transfer or Bachelor’s Degree
- Jackson County Early College (JCEC)
- International
- Personal Interest
- Workforce Training
Step 1. Apply
Dual Enrollment Application
Use the dual-enrollment option if you are:
- A current high school student looking to take classes while in high school.
- A home school student looking to take college classes while in high school.
Step 4.
Online Orientation and Registration
After you receive your acceptance letter, all new students must attend an online new student orientation. At the end of your orientation you will be able to schedule a meeting with your Student Success Navigator to register for classes.
