James McDivitt Hall

Named in honor of James McDivitt, a Jackson Junior College alumnus, astronaut, and NASA program manager, McDivitt Hall is home to key offices and resources for Behavioral Sciences, Mathematics & Engineering, and Science programs. McDivitt’s legacy of exploration and innovation is reflected in the academic pursuits within these walls. From his service as a fighter pilot in the Korean War to piloting Gemini IV and commanding Apollo IX, his contributions to space exploration and engineering continue to inspire students and faculty alike.
