After 18 months of dedicated research, planning, and collaborative effort, Jackson College is thrilled to announce the launch of its redesigned website!

This exciting project involved invaluable input from students, employees, and community members, all working together to create a digital experience that truly serves user needs. The new website features a fresh look and enhanced functionality designed to improve the online experience. It features intuitive navigation, improved search functionality, and streamlined access to valuable resources.

“One of the main goals was to create an efficient and easy-to-navigate website. Since we serve a wide range of audiences, from prospective students and families to alumni and community partners, it was important to make sure each group could quickly find the information most relevant to them,” said Graphic/Web Designer Ashley Banks. “We did a lot of research into audience types and used that insight to build dedicated audience pages that guide users to resources tailored specifically for them.”

Improvements

 Some improvements to the home page include:

• A sampling of academic programs, linking to a list of all academic programs.
• A menu to other learning options, including workforce training, community and personal learning and middle and high school programs.
• More emphasis is placed on campus life with links to athletics, student life and housing featured.
• In addition to academic support, Jackson College’s holistic view of student success is apparent with links to resources for food and personal support and healthcare support.
• An enhanced digital “newsroom” features a calendar, coming events, campus news, profiles, social media highlights and more, to keep college and community informed of what’s happening at JC.

The redesigned platform serves as more than just a website – it functions as a comprehensive digital gateway that reflects Jackson College’s commitment to innovation and community service. With mobile-responsive design and accessibility features, the site ensures all users can access vital information regardless of their device or abilities.

This contemporary design represents Jackson College’s dedication to providing exceptional service and communication to the community it serves.
