Extended County Residents

Students residing outside of Jackson County but within a Jackson County school district may qualify for the extended in-county rate. To obtain this rate, students must verify their address and school district. Verification documents required for approval of “Extended Rate” include a driver’s license or state-issued ID displaying the current address; and one of the following documents: Voter Registration card indicating the school district, or Property tax receipt reflecting the school district. (School of choice does not constitute permanent residency and does not qualify for the in-district rate.) Residency is based on the student’s permanent address at the time of registration.
