The Jackson College Institutional Review Board (IRB) exists to protect the rights, safety, and well-being of people who take part in research at the college.
The IRB reviews and approves all research involving human subjects that is done at Jackson College, for Jackson College, or that includes Jackson College students or employees. The goal is to make sure all research follows ethical standards.
IRB approval is required before starting any research involving human subjects at Jackson College or with Jackson College students or employees.
Note: You may also need approval from a department chair or division leader before starting your project.
