Music – Transfer Program

Jackson College offers a transfer-friendly Music program designed to help you seamlessly transition to a four-year college or university to complete your bachelor’s degree in music or a related field. Students gain valuable performance experience through ensembles such as JC Jazz Ensembles, Drumline, African Drum Ensemble, Pep Band, Community Concert Band, and Jackson Chorale while earning academic credit.

Because admission to four-year music programs is competitive and requires an audition, students should connect with their intended transfer institution early. Our student success navigators will help you plan your coursework and prepare for a successful transfer.
