Explore The Next Era of Manufacturing” with MMTC, JC
Jackson College, in partnership with Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center, will host ReMaking Michigan 2026: The Next Era of Manufacturing, a forward-looking event focused on how artificial intelligence is transforming the manufacturing industry. Plan to attend on Friday, May 8, from 8:30-11:30 a.m. in the Victor Cuiss Fieldhouse, Central Campus.
After five years of exploring advanced manufacturing technologies and Industry 4.0 strategies, this event marks a shift from adoption to optimization, helping manufacturers understand how to maximize the impact of digital transformation.
The event will bring together industry leaders, technology experts, and manufacturers to reflect on key lessons learned and examine how artificial intelligence is reshaping operations, productivity, and competitiveness. Sessions will highlight what has worked, what has not, and where companies should focus next in an increasingly AI-driven landscape.
Through expert insights, real-world manufacturer case studies, and practical discussions, attendees will gain a clearer understanding of how to move beyond implementation and fully leverage AI to drive productivity, resilience, and growth.
“This event is about helping manufacturers take the next step,” said Director of Economic and Workforce Development Amber Collins, Jackson College. “We want participants to leave with actionable strategies they can apply immediately in their organizations.”
The event is free to attend; however, registration is required.
