About the new Center

Jackson College’s new Medical Simulation Center expands hands-on healthcare education, giving students a safe, realistic space to build confidence and skill. The Center features high-fidelity manikins, virtual reality technology, and lifelike hospital environments—from a birthing suite to an ICU and ambulance bay—mirroring Henry Ford Jackson Hospital.

“Students will take everything they’ve learned in the classroom and act as if they’re treating a real patient,” said Sarah Case, simulation coordinator.

Serving all of the College’s healthcare programs and community partners, the Center prepares students for today’s evolving healthcare field. Supported by Alro Steel, The Alvin Glick Foundation, Michigan LEO, and Jackson College, this state-of-the-art facility strengthens the local healthcare workforce.
