Food Resources

No student should have to choose between meals and their education. Jackson College is committed to supporting students with access to essential food resources. Whether you need a quick meal, groceries to take home, or information about community assistance programs, we’re here to help you stay nourished and focused on your goals.

Students who self-identify can receive emergency assistance coupons for meals, hygiene, or household needs. Simply visit the Jets Store or Dining Commons, ask for a coupon, and redeem for:

  • Meals in the dining commons
  • A la carte food at the Jet Fuel coffee shop (excluding coffee, tea & smoothies)
  • Hygiene and household needs at the Jets Store (excluding clothing and college merchandise)

The South Michigan Food Bank distributes food to communities across eight counties, supporting local pantries and hunger relief programs to fight food insecurity in southern Michigan.

The Jackson County Community Resource Guide connects residents to essential services, including food support, housing, healthcare, and more, to help meet community needs.
