Emergency Support

Jackson College is committed to our students’ success. Our hope is that every student has an opportunity to complete their academic goals regardless of what obstacles may come in their way.

We recognize that we learn as whole people. To learn effectively you must have basic security: a roof over your head, a safe place to sleep, enough food to eat, financial resources and a support system. If you’re having trouble with any of those things you have come to the right place!

We have created this intake form to assist you as quickly as possible. When you submit this form our team will review it and provide you with information and assistance as soon as possible.

Important Notes:
  • In order to receive assistance aside from accessing resources from the food pantry, students must be attending 6 credits or more (an exception may be provided for those applying to second admit programs or students in their final semester for degree completion) and these classes must be beyond course census dates before consideration for support is finalized.
  • Please note that we may also text you about updates regarding your form submission.
  • Requests are reviewed on Mondays by a volunteer committee and you will be contacted at that time with updates. Aside from requests for gas cards or food assistance, requests without documentation will not be considered

Thank you for reaching out to us… now let’s get to helping you!
