Submit Transcripts

As part of the admissions process, Jackson College requests transcripts and test scores to verify your academic history and evaluate transfer credits, and they are required for financial aid eligibility. Submitting the correct documents early helps ensure a smooth enrollment experience.

Official vs unofficial transcripts

  • Official transcripts must be sent directly from the issuing school or testing agency to Jackson College—either electronically through a secure service or by mail in a sealed envelope. This process ensures the information is accurate, unaltered, and meets both federal and institutional standards for admissions.
    • In order for high school transcripts to be considered official they also need to have a cumulative GPA and graduation date listed.
  • Unofficial transcripts are copies you provide yourself (e.g., screenshots, PDFs, or printed versions). These may be used for advising but cannot be used for admissions decisions or transfer credit evaluations.
