Home / Events / Pop-Up Ceramics: Handmade Christmas in July
Beat the summer heat with a splash of holiday cheer at our Handmade Christmas in July ceramics workshop! This festive class invites you to explore creative Christmas décor ideas and bring them to life with clay. Our instructor will provide initial guidance to get you started, then be available throughout the workshop to answer questions and assist as you work independently on your projects. Whether you’re new to ceramics or already enjoy working with clay, this workshop is a fun way to celebrate Christmas in July while creating one-of-a-kind decorations that will bring joy to your home when the holiday season arrives.
Level of Experience: Beginner to Advanced. Students will receive initial instruction then focus on independent work. The instructor will be available to assist as needed, but will encourage students to create on their own without step-by-step instruction.
Please wear appropriate clothing for working with art materials and an apron if you have one. Projects will be created on day 1. Before day 2, our instructor will fire the project in our on-campus kiln. Day 2 students will complete the glaze process. Instructions for picking up your project will be discussed at the workshop.
*Ceramics is a multi-step process. We try our best to avoid breakage but cannot be held responsible if accidents or breakage occurs*
