Tai Chi for Better Health

During this 4-week workshop, students will learn the basics of Tai Chi exercise. Tai Chi is gentle exercise that combines slow movements with deep breathing. This beginning level workshop will provide step-by-step instruction and practice of Tai Chi exercises designed to increase balance, posture, muscle strength and decrease the risk of falling. Each class will include instruction and practice of warm-up activities, Tai Chi forms, and cool-down movements. Modifications will be provided for those who prefer to do seated versions of the Tai Chi forms. Cost: $50
