Please join us in welcoming Dr. Mustafaa S. Muhamed as our featured author this month! Dr. Muhamed will speak about his work as an educator, researcher, author, and nonprofit leader. His book “Roots in America: The History and Identity of Foundational Black Americans” explores the history, identity, culture, and development of Foundational Black Americans by examining lineage, community formation, cultural preservation, social movements, and the ongoing quest for equality and self-determination. He will have copies of his book available for purchase and signing!
