HealthWise: Free Community Health Screening & Wellness Event

Take charge of your health — for free! Jackson College invites the community to HealthWise, a one-stop event offering valuable health screenings, wellness resources, and activities for all, on Thursday, Sept. 18 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Jackson College’s Central Campus, 2111 Emmons Road, Jackson.

This annual event provides free screenings, opportunities to connect with local health resources, and activities to support healthy living.

FREE Health Screenings & Services Include:

• Vascular screening – carotid arteries, abdominal aorta measurement (registration required – call 517.990.1374 to reserve your time slot.)
• Electrocardiogram (EKG)
• Glucose screening
• Vital signs – blood pressure, heart rate
• Diabetic foot screening
• Lung health assessment
• Oral cancer screening (registration required – call 517.990.1374 to reserve your time slot.)

• Indoor & outdoor campus walk
• Health & Wellness Expo – connect with local organizations and resources
