George B. Page Trustee Biography George Page has lived in Jackson since 1991 and currently resides in Summit Township with his wife, Mary Lu Angelilli, and their dog, Benson. George has been a small business owner and employer at Page Engineering, Inc. since 1994. He currently serves as a Trustee of Jackson College, appointed by the Board of Trustees in February 2026. He is proud of all the good the College does for the community and believes in the value of education. Board service is nothing new to him: he previously served as Board Chair and a board member of The Jackson College Foundation. Along with his duties at the College, he serves as Board Chair of disAbility Connections and sits on the board of disAbility Connections Foundation, both in Jackson, and has served as chair and board member of the International Society of Occupational Safety and Health. George holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in industrial and operations engineering from the University of Michigan. He and Mary Lu are members of Queens Church, and George is an Eagle Scout. His passions include his bride, family, and pup; the Detroit Tigers and Lions; Michigan Wolverines football; and growing peaches. Trustee Perspective Why did you decide to become a Jackson College Trustee? I love the College and all the great things it is doing for our community. What do you enjoy most about serving as a Jackson College Trustee? Meeting students, faculty and staff that make it all possible! From your perspective, in what ways do you see Jackson College serving the community? Providing the launch pad for opportunity. Education is vital to our students, employers and community as a whole. How has your experience with Jackson College impacted your life? It sure has. It has brought me closer to our Jackson County (and tri-county area) students, faculty and staff. One of my long-time employees is a JC graduate! What is one message you would offer to Jackson College students and/or the community? The highway to success in Jackson County begins at Jackson College. It is a great place to start your career!
