NC-SARA is a voluntaryagreement that establishes national standards for interstate distance education.Participation in SARA allows Jackson College to offer distance education programs tostudents in other SARA member states without needing individual state approval. A currentlist of SARA member states can be found here: https://nc-sara.org/directory Professional Licensure Disclosure Students considering pursuing an academic program that leads to professional licensureare advised that Jackson College’s programs prepare students to practice in the state ofMichigan and are not intended to prepare students for out of state licensure. Studentsenrolled in Jackson College’s programs seeking to practice outside the state of Michiganare advised to contact the appropriate licensing agency within their home state to seekinformation and additional guidance before beginning a program outside of their homestate.State by State Professional Certifications Student Complaint Process for Out-of-State Distance Education Students Jackson College is committed to resolving student concerns and complaints in a fair andtimely manner.
