About the Contest
Each year, Jackson College hosts a student art contest to celebrate and showcase the creative talents of our students. Winning entries from the Jackson College contest are submitted to the League for Innovation in the Community College national art competition, where they have the opportunity to be recognized alongside student artists from across the country.
The contest typically opens in early spring, with a submission deadline in April. All currently enrolled Jackson College students are eligible to participate, and entries are accepted in a variety of media, including painting, drawing, photography, digital art, and more.
