Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic Pathway

Paramedic Program: Jackson College EMS Program Partnership with Emergent Health Partners (EHP).

Direct admit from Jackson College Emergency Medical Services-EMT-Basic to EHP paramedic program.

Jackson College has partnered with Emergent Health Partners Education to deliver paramedic training and certification. This partnership will offer EMT-basic students employment opportunities and a direct admittance to EHPE paramedic program. Emergent Health Partners is a Michigan Works approved training program, enabling eligibility for funding.

Emergent Health students and others who have completed a paramedic program, completed the NREMT exam and earned the industry-recognized credential will have the opportunity to articulate thirty-three (33) college credits towards Jackson College’s Associate Degree of Applied Science – Allied Health. Additional classes may be needed to complete the Associate in Applied Science degree.
