Summer Concert Series: The Jackson College Community Concert Band Performance

Summer Concert Series continues June 20 with The Jackson College Community Concert Band. This free concerts will begin at 7 p.m. in the Sheffer Music Hall.
The Community Concert Band will perform Cohan’s “Patriotic Fantasy,” Kabalevsky’s “Colas Breugnon Suite,” the “Boston Pops March,” a Burt Bacharach medley created by EMU Music Major and long-time JC Band/Jazzy Jets member Rob Janz, two high-energy rhythmic pieces entitled “Persistence” (Saucedo) and “Flight of Valor,” (Swearingen) the beauty of Ticheli’s “Shenandoah,” and of course big-band the toe-tapper, “Little Brown Jug.”
