Celebrate the season as Potter Center presents new musical version of ‘A Christmas Carol’ on Dec. 9.

Experience the transformative power of redemption in Charles Dickens’ timeless tale, “A Christmas Carol,” with a lush new musical coming to the Potter Center at Jackson College on Saturday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m.

The tale is a hallmark of the holiday season: Ebenezer Scrooge, the greediest of misers, is made to see the light as he survives repeated revelations by the Ghosts of his own life: Jacob Marley and the Christmas Spirits of Past, Present and Future. With script adaptation, direction and flawless performances, this new adaptation of Dickens’ classic fills the stage with first class professional actors, authentic costumes, stunning sets and puppetry, song and dance, a heavy dose of humor, and a timeless message.
